Big Sky Trip
by Joan Halle
Spectacular, magnificent, beyond compare . . . and a bunch of other superlatives . . . describes the April Big Sky, Montana club trip enjoyed by 37 fortunate members.
Perfect weather, with sunny skies and a taste of snow from time to time, made for unbelievable conditions for novice and expert alike, as lack of lift lines promised grinning skiers all the way down the mountains, time and time again.
The Huntley’s breakfast bounty, included in the trip price, fueled enthusiastic skiers for blissful experiences on the slopes.
Trip leader Dottie Binder and husband John were the perfect hosts at a pizza party get-together, allowing friends to share their latest downhill adventures and compare digital photos.
Big Sky locals raved to all who would listen about the perfect conditions in the record-setting season which was coming to an end much too soon.
If you missed this one, watch the club news in coming years for a return trip to Big Sky, always a popular choice among members.
